What is a Pre Roll? A CBD pre-roll is another name for a hemp joint. This type of product is pre-filled with ground-up CBD hemp flower. To make our Delta 8 flower, we start with our best-selling organic and sustainable hemp flower. Then it’s time to infuse the premium buds with Delta-8 (Δ8) THC distillate. This is when the magic happens. At room temperature, Δ8-THC distillate is incredibly thick, which makes it difficult to work with. Most producers spray this thick oil directly onto their flower … and the results are often a goopy, unevenly coated mess. But lucky for us (and you) there’s a new, industry leading technique.
At Lucky Elk, our cold-infusion is different. In this unique process, we freeze the Δ8-THC distillate and crush it into a fine powder. Mix in some CBD kief, and toss it all with premium flower! This cold infusion method ensures that all the nooks and crannies of the buds are evenly coated. The flower’s natural terpenes are sealed in, so added hemp-derived terpenes round out the infused product to achieve maximum bag appeal.
